Thank you very much for the forums! This is the first and only one, in english, about Arche Age, am I right? :D
I look forward to the future of this community, and hope I can be a helpfully contributing part of it.
I just hope you're not too strict about Community Guideline/Rule 3. ^-^ Hehe.
Second post! =D

Yes, it is the first non-Korean ArcheAge community. As for rule 3, it's there to keep people from getting into arguements that have no place on the internet. We're all here to have fun, not talk about racial or religious problems in the real world.

Depends on the subject of the flame and the location. Guilds can have public rivalries on forums, but when it's one-sided or starts becoming about something other than guilds (race, etc.), then things have gotten out of control. You understand?

For sure.I mean race is always a sensitive issue and i agree about that. Alas people are offended for every thing on the net (When in truth they shouldnt be taking anything seriously at all), and trying to appease them all is unrealistic...so while i agree with you im just saying in my experiences the modding can get out of hand. There should be a flame section and or different rules for the guild sections etc., with a dif set of Mods watching over them.

If only "Use common sense." was the only rule you needed.
I think making a flame section is bad. We already have off-topic, let's leave it at that. Are we so childish that we need something we're allowed to intentionally be aggressive and potentially offending in?
And having a different set of Mods to watch it? Oh come on.
I'm not saying we should drop this completely, but how about a little faith in the Admin, and let's just wait and see how he deals with us when we start firin' our lazors?
Bloody hell... they're the Forum Guidelines. >_>
And "every forum needs some flame" sounds like something a young teen would say. Naturally, there is bound to be an argument or two that will go on that leads to using harsh language and offensive insulting of one another, but as with all matters, the Admin and his rag tag group of Moderators, can assess the situation, and take the appropriate course of action via sense and logic. We don't 'need' the flame. I would hate for us to promote such a thing on a game like ArcheAge, which I'm hoping attracts the more mature crowd and community for a change.

First off i dont have faith in Admins off the back...It's earned, or sunk hardly to rise.
Secondly werent you the first person who was hoping the "3rd rule isnt too strict"? What are you basing that request for hope off of? My guess is past experiences. Wheres that faith you speak of?
The level preposterousness you must believe the ideas you bashed, to hold, is highly skewed. Its already been done on other forums. Whether or not its good or bad is another completely subjective argument. The idea and or execution would be based solely off of Mod/Admin Performance + Mod/Admin/Dev site goals.
Here ill use the blah, series of MMO sites. Generally free speaking active admin/moding/minimoding with much more flexible boundaries, and contrary to popular belief a relatively older audience (note i didnt say mature) who realize its just the net.
And as its opposite, take TERA FANS, or similar Curse network sites who want to maintain a certain face image. Its a great set of sites with great communities and people. Overly Heavy Moding and censorship. Their face image is clean and caters to the entire spectrum of players from young, to old ,to weak of e-spirit lmao. They pass site rankings and safety rankings for youth etc. Meanwhile there are several sites and or affiliates with more loosely restricted guild/flame sections...
Are we so immature that we need a separate section to be more aggressive and potentially offending in??!?!?!?! Depending on the level of moderation here, and the sites face goals then yes...Perhaps the word "need" is inaccurate.
At any rate welcome to the interwebzz sir, ill be your guide.
Granted i want this site to be its own thing and these were merely references, but i dont know how active you've been on various forums to respond thusly.
As for forums needing flame...how is this a concept you cant understand? Flaming an e-motion in MMOs is an intricate part of how the community in game interact with one another...and the more that you can express that the more colorful the world would be. Im just about 25 years old and not offended by the fact you believe that this is sumthing a teen would say, id simply rebuttal that your sentiment is sumthing and inexperienced gamer would say.
And lastly Common sense is not common, but if it were we surely would have no need of even debating this.

I was humorously pointing out the fact I like to swear, it wasn't to be taken so serialz-like.
Also, I don't care about other sites or forums and how they did things, what I'm suggesting is that we give this Admin the benefit of the doubt until something actually happens that would require us to do something so needless as "There shouls be a flam section and or different rules for the guild sections etc with a dif set of Mods watchign over it." alright?
And yes, of course common sense isn't common, but I can't just say 'sense' because sometimes people forget what that word means itself, so I just use Common sense as a non-literal term.
Oh, one more thing, SPELLCHECK, use it.
P.S: If you must reply to what I've said here, take it to PM. This is the "Welcome to the ArcheAge Online Community" topic, not the "Wankers having a go at each other" thread. I don't think it's going to be all warm and welcoming for people checking this topic out, so either get back on topic (which there is none, really) or move this to PM. Thank you and have a nice day. :)

Sure lets give em a chance *Does enthusiastic "Go get em" Arm movement*
And lmfao you cant be serious about spellcheck...Your posts have more than their share of grammatical and spelling errors...And we are to assume you're actually using the spellcheck feature? LOL...holy fail.
I clearly cared about my spelling...whilst writing words like "Sumthing"...Lmao get a grip kid. I hope i will be forgiven. Aside from my horrid 2nd post, that i clearly took my time on (LOL)...What were my other errors? Forgotten single vowels From what i can gander? I wont install the spellcheck add on, or use it, as ive done just fine on all forums...Unless ofc you gonna gets meh an E-Degree in Engrish. You a grammar nazi? Blow me...rofl. But ill go ahead and fix that line, so that you can find it easier to love me :( <3.
And lmao, Dont mini Mod. I wont take it to PMs...no need.

What grammatical or spelling errors have I made hm?
Well, you're clearly getting over heated about this, although pointing it out isn't the smartest move for me to make either.
Heil Grammar.
There's no need to get rude now 'kid', which I assume you are after your 'blow me' retort. I have no intention of blowing you, as I have no sexual interest in you whatsoever.
Please be a little less aggro and a little more mature about this. Jokes are fine, but antagonism isn't.

Sorry if you mentioned it but i couldn't be bothered reading past here. Just so you know, the admin here is the same admin that owns and runs Aionblah and Terablah, he was also the creator of Aionsource.
So i dont think he's going to be overly strict when it comes to moderation and free speech.
