It seems like yesterday I was typing up a news article just like this one, but actually it was just over a month ago that we ArcheAgeSource.com hit 500 members. In that one month (plus a couple days) our membership has skyrocketed faster than any period of time since this fansite was founded (early last year). We've hit warp speed! A lot of interesting stuff has happened in the past couple months, and a lot more interesting stuff will happen in March and April (if XLGames follows its current plans). New concept art has been released regularly, we've been adding new website backgrounds to our collection every 100 members, videos have indicated that ArcheAge might have been switched over to CryENGINE 3, and we've begun rewarding proactive members of the community with swag!
Lots more cool things are going to be flying in your direction this year, as long as we can keep the momentum building. It's inevitable that ArcheAge's release date in Korea will be announced by the end of this year, and we'll more likely than not learn just who bought the rights to publish our favorite MMO in North America and maybe even Europe! Those big-ticket news items are probably months away, however, so let's keep a fire brightly burning (symbolically, not literally) while we wait.
Here's the first piece of firewood: wallpaper for your PC's desktop! We covered most of the resolution ratios people use (16:10, 16:9, 5:4). If you need a special resolution wallpaper custom-made, leave a comment and we'll try to accommodate your request!
