We could copy WoW's official forums, but that's lazy! If you've got a good idea for a forum or subforum for the ArcheAge Online Community, please tell us about it! We're constantly looking to improve. Not to mention the sidebar look lonely.

A roleplaying section. I already have a good format for how it should be presented, and I do love roleplay, as I believe this community will eventually since ArcheAge is perfect for it, at least in my eyes it is.

EDIT: I changed my signature to the freewill one, I like that better, and it's smaller. Is this fine by everyone? =)

Another suggestion would be to implement a chat feature for the site so we can IM each other. :)

There's three options for that:

1. A shoutbox.
2. A chat room powered by flash/java.
3. An IRC channel.

Which would you prefer?

Flash/java chat room would be preferred. IRC channel would be okay, but I think it's used less by people. And shoutbox... is not a real chat device, at least it never works out to be from what I've seen.

Admin, for the Creative Corner, could you make that a completely separate forum, and not apart of the Off-topic section?
If so, could you make the description for it something like "Post your art, poetry, writing, graphics, etc about ArcheAge, or Roleplay your characters!"

And then make a sub-forum called "In-Character Roleplay" with the description "Work on your character sheets or roleplay out scenarios!"
With yet another sub-forum inside of that one, called "Character Profiles" with the description "Make and post your character sheets!"

And then returning to the Creative Corner, make one last sub-forum called "Out of Character Discussion" with the description "For discussing roleplay, characters, lore, plotlines and so forth, out of character."

I know it seems like a lot, but it's all incredibly useful and helpful, and I'll make good use out of it, we all will once the roleplayers start pouring in. :)

I think having Creative corner as a sub-section is fine for now, there isn't a whole lot of information pertaining to lore etc so you couldn't possibly have a whole lot of stuff to roleplay about.

We don't have much, but enough to get the ball rolling, and I'd prefer having it all nice and neatly set up for when we do in fact discover the origins of the world of ArcheAge, and its story is told.
Plus, the Creative corner is there for more than roleplay, please remember that. It's for artistic expression of all kinds, that just happens to include roleplaying. :)

I'm the only hardcore roleplayer currently in the community, true, but an mmorpg's lore isn't roleplay, nor necessarily associated with roleplayers, so when I said 'We', I wasn't saying 'We roleplayers', I said 'We the community' have little info on the game's lore. Let's try and stay on the topic of forum suggestions please.

Another good idea would be to have a sub-forum, perhaps in the Off-topic section, called "Guild Recruitment" or something. Though I wouldn't advise that until it's official that ArcheAge is going to be westernised and such. ^_^

I'll make a special forum for RP a little later when more people show up. Right now the Creative Corner was meant for sig makers and other people to show off. ;)

Two things:

1) RSS Feed for your news page so I dont have to work at copy/pasting. Id rather just steal your work with an RSS. I do give credit, but this makes things easier for lazy people like me that would rather game than forum.

2) Guild Forums... Might help to start making room for more people.

I agree with Dave, with the artist forums. One thing I like about these forums is they allow sigs but it would be nice if they could be kept to 200 x700 pixels are smaller. Not smaller then 150X600 though :p

I could post up one of my few short stories for my rping character in warhammer. Though I never rped in game (gamer rping scares the crap out of me to much drama). I did enjoy D&D and rolling the dice but anything else *burr* Plus I'm too much of a pvper to belong to rping guilds.

Anyways adding a guild section would be nice.

Right now we're fine with how things are but the guild section because there's not much of us posting on the forums.

Edit: btw I prefer the shout box over IRC :P
