I'm going to get a mechanical keyboard and can't exactly find the right one. Really liking the Corsair Vengeance K70 with Cherry MX Blue switches. Don't exactly like the $120 price tag though. So far that is my pick though. Let me know what you guys think! Here is a link if you're curious.

The more X's something has in it's name the better it is, go with that.

Give a look to this guide which explains the differences between Cherry MX switches:

Then look for keyboards with switches you like most ^_^

I highly suggest to test those buttons before buying, some of them are a lot different from standard keyboards.

Brown switches are perfect for all around. I have ducky.

Yeah I looked into the differences and got it down to Brown or blue. I like the clicky noise though xD. Aren't the ducky keyboards expensive?

There are a lot cheaper ones out there for sure. Just don't buy razer I think their quality is horrible crap these days. It used to be awesome brand.

Agreed. I took back two Razer Naga's last year that each quit working within a week.

I have broken 2 lycosas and 1 naga in few months of usage still using my naga though since I kinda love it, but the quality is still crap.

I've had my naga for 2 years now and it's going strong. I was considering the BlackWidow keyboard because it's cheaper than the Vengeance. I do want it to be backlit though because I am usually on my computer in the dark. I've checked Newegg multiple times now and can't seem to find any brands that I trust. Like Keycool for example.

Are you using it just for gaming or regular use as well?

Ok, nevermind... I love my keyboard, but it's pretty much 'gamer-only'. Trying to use it as a regular keyboard can drive one batshit crazy. Not mechanical either.

I think I'm just gonna go with the K70. Bad things happen when I'm cheap xD

You can also buy for less than 10 euros a small set of buttons, one from each type, to test the feeling of each one.

Bigger computer shops have those tests buttons you can try.
