1 year of "we're working on it" is getting really old really fast. At this rate, we might get CBT dates by next years birthday!!!

How many of you would purchase an early access release of the glitchy, non-translated version of AA? I personally would spend $50+ to be able to Alpha test AA right now, and potentially give constructive feedback that would improve the games mechanics.

Just look at how popular DayZ, Rust, and Planetary Annihilation have become since their early access release. Even Runescape has developed 3 open Alpha/Beta tests (some for free) since last year.

Jagex, one of the most notoriously hated and disliked developers (for ignoring the interest of their fanbase), has been involved within their community more than Trion has within AA.

It was our BIRTHDAY and we received the "no talking about AA or we're going to Shadowban you" response again... WTF?!?! Not even a thank you for waiting 365+ days for an inch of information??? Great way to treat your potential customers Trion!!

But it was actually funny. I'm not playing the game right now, for sure. My only working computer is a laptop.

I'm so glad I jumped into the boat very late not soon. Would hate to be waiting any longer than I already have! (3 weeks?) I remember hearing about AA when guild wars 2 was gearing up for beta. I just dismissed it as a crappy Korean grind fest mmo. Glad I did. I'm going to freeze myself someone melt me when AA is released to NA

See you in another three years or so ;)

I've been a member or archeagesource for nigh on two years now, and you think three weeks is long? Heh.

Welcome to ArcheAge my friend.

I tried freezing myself but it just made me more bitter and miserable and it's still not out. :(

It may just be me, but I am having a lot of trouble maintaining my hopes for AA in NA/EU. I used to be sooo excited that it was finally coming to NA but at that time Trion still had a strong rep. Now it almost feels like AA won't make much of a splash if at all because Trion isn't under good graces it seems. Also I can't help but think that Trion screwed the pooch on timing regarding AA considering potential games that may steal away what would have been AA players.

At this point I am far more excited for The Repopulation. I know that the genre/theme are completely different and that TRP is a full scale sandbox in comparison to AA. But sadly I feel that my hopes are better invested in TRP not only because I think that TRP will satisfy my gaming needs in more ways (because it's a full scale sandbox) than AA, but more so due to Trion's choice of prioritizing AA at the bottom of their list (feels that way).

I guess the best word to describe my thoughts on how Trion is handling AA so far is... disappointed. Just doesnt seem like they are making much effort considering that Trion has had their hands on it for more than a year now and we are just now hearing about F&F Alpha after complete silence since the big brag fest at E3? It just doesn't seem right.

Sorry for the rant, I guess it's more or less just me thinking out loud. But does anyone else have similar thoughts? I can't imagine I am alone in this thinking.

PsychoPhobic - I would quote you but I seem to be unable to do so (I suspect there is some sort of user error going on here)

I totally agree with how you summed up timing for this game. I absolutely believed that the developers and publishers of this game have pretty much missed their window for releasing a sand-box(park) game.

One year out.....I am glad they haven't forgotten, but we (the AA community) need to start hearing about the progress made in getting it out, frequently. We, the ones who will be paying to play(however they decide to make it, not the discussion here), should be hearing more about AA. Honestly, I am very concerned for the future of this game just because we are hearing NOTHING about the NA version.

Trion....I'm not getting any younger here
