ya man this game looks soooo sexi. but as has be said, many games have looked super sexy and failed. hopefully this one will succeed and we will get an engrish version. In the meantime tera will be coming out sooner so that will be the goto game i think for the time being. Also, so added video (showing off the physics and world engine capacity.)
Both make my pants shrink. Though the capacity to change the world can be scary. Especially if there is only 1 bridge to a certain area and someone destroys it. What then?

Then you plant a giant tree, chop it down and viola!!! You got yourself a home grown bridge!!!! Im not even joking lol.

Every object in the world can be interacted with, its not just for decoration usually :). You can climb a tree, you can get fruits from it, or you can cut it down and use it as a bridge over a river. You can also plant the trees almost anywhere you want, and they will grow overtime. For example you can plant a forest with your friends, and some person that runs by will get a feeling that he is lost, because there was no forest here before.
Ya pretty frickin awesomesauce!!! But ya i totally agree that the ability to change the world can be very scary. For example, what if some dumb teenager thinks it will be funny to get his school friends together and chop down every tree in sight? I suppose because of their stupidity we would have to go on a massive planting spree lol. Dont get me wrong, i think this will be an amazing feature, but the idea that the players can royally **** one of the server continents worries me lol.

is this not exactly the point? a group of people could conceivably go around screwing things up... just like real life. only in real life if you go and split their skulls you go to prison.

Thats what I love about this game.
You can band together and fuck up those who fuck with people...
Or you can band together and fuck people up and mess with them...
Either way, its fun to be on either side. I usually choose the mean path though cause I like to get my mean on

Being mean only lasts so long too, sometimes being a jerk actually is a good thing and plays a part in a game.

The ability to change the world is definitely a GOOD thing overall. I'm just a tad worried about its limitations (or lack thereof). A couple examples:
What happens to the wood that is left over after that bridge collapses? Can it be rebuilt? Does it despawn? Does is just sit there? Same goes for any destructible. It has the capacity to severely clog the game down with useless nonsense. That forest planted by players probably added tens if not hundreds of thousands of polys to your screen. Which means hard forcing fps lag around your player cities will be a valid means of controlling zergs. That, to me, is an issue that needs dealing with.
For those of your that played SWG you know about how allowing players to change the surroundings can alter the game. In my guild we placed out city in one of only 2 krayt dragon spawns on the entire server without realizing it. We were there at day1 and noone knew anything about the spawns. We had just found a sweet little canyon and took it as ours. Of course it killed the spawn and as far as i know the entirety of krayt items was halved on our server.

this goes back to my timer theory. i believe anything you destroy or plant is on a timer and respawns or dies after X amount of time.

Blue. No! Yel... aaaahhhhhh!
After much reading, watching, clicking and searching... it's occurred to me that this would be my perfect game; I said the same thing about Mortal Online as well though... but they failed in my opinion.
Also, fantastic work OP. There was a good bit of information there that I hadn't found elsewhere; very much appreciated.

Yeah i feel ya as far as the Mortal Online thing goes, i really had high hopes for MO. I even bought the Limited Edition with free expansions for life....
Not much you can do without the big name publishers/sponsors to give you the fat cash to develop a quality game.
I think most of us are very skeptical about new games lately, simply because of all the crap thats being thrown into the gaming industry. Seems like we are all waiting for that one game that will snatch our social life from us lol.

Even that doesn't help sometimes... Realtime Worlds managed to screw up All Points Bulletin even with an insanely massive budget.

I'll be the first to say it's quite the opposite for me lol I have no social life... bitches are too crazy for me to have any interest in socializing with them 90% of the time.

Just have to find the ones that fit into those last 10%
And we should prooooobably try to refrain from offensive language on the forum.
