DISCLAIMER. This is information from patch notes of upcoming patch in Korea game. Trion said that they use it, but technical realisation may differ. So, all this text should be considered as expectations ang guesses, nothing more.

REFERENCE. This is translated article. Original: http://www.archeager...платы имущества

Sorry for bad english, I'm not a native speaker.

ArcheAge 1.0 property payment system

ArcheAge 1.0 offers new payment system for scarecrews and houses. You use 'certificate' (token in other translations) which can be obtained with 3 ways: crafted, bought for crystals (real money), bought for lulu coins (premium benefits). There are two types of certificates:

1477eb1a9c05a79764e53388ebe54e86.jpg

This one can be bought by crystals (real money). It can be traded ingame. This means that someone can spend a lot of money and then resell certificates for ingame gold. Like time-cards in EVE online.

e628392b4a920e0b52bbcd8040cab186.jpg

This one can be crafted or bought for lull stars. It cannot be traded ingame. You should have scarecrow or house to craft it. This means that you cannot create your first house for crafted certificates, you should buy them.

How to obtain certificate

1) Crafting. You can go to Your house or scarecrow, press "G" button and get crafting menu. You will spend 200 Labour points for 5 certificates. You cannot trade acquired certificates.

2) Buy for Lulu coins. Lulu coins are collecting on Your account when it online. You can also obtain it in exchange of premium-account benefits. You cannot trade acquired certificates. 10 lulu coins = 10 certificates.

3) Buy for crystals. You can trade bought crystals. 10 certificates = 100 crystals ( = $3 in russian prices).

Taxes prices differs according to territory size.

f37e3260ac6a349a58ec4565c41283ca.png

First column is territory size (8x8 - small SC, 16x16 - big SC, 24x24 - small house, 28x28 - farm, 44x44 - big house)

Second column is weekly tax (in certificates)

Thirs column is first payment price (in certificates).

When You're deploying something You should pay first payment price AND weekly tax. For example, You should pay 10+5=15 certificates for small SC deployment and 5 certificates weekly.

Very interesting. I think it's a novel way of making F2P players put some skin in the game if they want the best features.

Very interesting.

In this balance, tax for big scarecrow (10 certs) is about 5 gold.

mail.ru gold tax now is 2 gold.

Not bad. 5 gp weekly is very easy affordable.

Do you need anything other than Labour Points to create the certificates?

If not - sounds fine. I'm having problems spending all my labour points anyway. :D

I don't get it...... so you have a sub and you have to pay taxes every week as well?  If you have a sub shouldn't the taxes be included in your monthly sub?

How much of this stupid tax will i need for a large scarecrow and the biggest house in the game (Not including a castle just the biggest house)?  I want to know because this is starting to sound really bad.

How much in real life money will it cost me on top of my monthly sub to have a house and scarecrow?

This is one of the reasons why I don't want the 1.0 patch. So I have a farm house, a large and an underwater farm. NOW: I use my work points to make them profitable, plant and sell (or trade) and with the gold I pay the rent, fair system. AFTER 1.0: 10 certificate for the large SC, 25 for the farm house, total 35 certificate....1400 labor points. In 1 day with subscription I gain 1440 points, so basically I waste 1 day a week just to pay the taxes. In that day I can't plant or do anything cause my points go to tax. And I'm not even considering the underwater farm...it has tax too. What is the point of this crap? I mean the point for players, cause for them, it's clear they want to sell certificate for real money, but I already pay a subscrition to be able to have the house!! Why would I pay 2 times for the same thing? If that retarded patch comes out I quit, not only cause of this, but the other changes in 1.0 as well.

I'm new to AA and stuff so I don't know what 1.0 changed.  However if a 15 a month sub fee is not going to cover taxes then what is the point of a sub at all?

Also if what you say is true and I would be unable to use in game gold for taxes then that is really turning things into something bad.  I can see in game gold OR allowing us to have our taxes for everything we own included in our sub.  However making us waste labor points to pay the tax and thats the only way we can/.  That is totally bad.
