Okies so my curiousity (And fear) is about building a beautiful mansion,

And then it being destroyed. The total cost would be,

Asian Style Manor Materials
500 Gilda
45 Stone Pack
    4500 Processed-13500 Unprocessed
15 Iron Pack
    1500 Processed-4500 Unprocessed
25 Lumber Pack
    2500 Processed-7500 Unprocessed

So say your not on for a few weeks and the taxes go unpaid.

If the house is destroyed by players or if the house goes poof,

Would i have to spend the nice 25,500 materials to rebuild the house?

Or would it be like a boat where you build it once and voila~?

Please tell me the good, or (EEP) bad news? <_<

If the taxes go unpaid, the house is destroyed and the deed is returned to you in mail. Any furnishings or objects within are lost, the building materials are lost.

Memo: Pay your taxes faithfully. :)

Not all of the furnishings and objects are lost - some will be returned, some are destroyed.  It varies per object.
