I've still yet to actually play the game (every time I queue long enough to make it to character creation my computer freezes...), but I really want to figure out my character's build ahead of time.
I've always enjoyed Summoner/Illusionist type classes that provide valuable party support while still having their own DPS to fall back on with some utility to help them survive as the squishies they are. As a PvE carebear I want to be valued in parties while not completely hopeless on my own; it would also be nice to be of at least marginal use in mass PvP for whatever guild I join. I've come to the conclusion that the skill tree combination I'm looking for is probably one of the following:
I put together some builds for them based purely on educated guesses and speculation, but of course without any actual experience myself I have no idea how practical any of these builds/classes are, or even what niches/roles each of those classes fill best along with their weaknesses.
Could anyone help demystify these classes for me so I can choose which direction to go in, and perhaps point me in the right direction with the respective skill build(s) as well?
