Why is there a 3.0 in brackets at the attack speed?

Interesting stuff, can casting speed go beyond 100%?

I'm curious as well. Is that possibly a max value? Like, 2.3 is the "normal" stat but 3.0 could be the highest possible with buffs/equipment of some kind?

In any case, thank you for putting this up, Amaterasu. Very interesting. This was your Conjury/Will/Devotion build, correct?

mby the 3.0 is what hs weapon offer, but other stuff limit him to 2.3 ?
would be lame to see a casting speed as what we saw in Lineage 2 for some nuker classes.. i hope they dont repeat that shit!
or that last bit from 2.3 to 3.0 better be a huge boost :P lol

Dual-wield maybe? Left hand weapons speed 2.3 (dagger), right hand weapons speed 3.0 (1h sword)?

That's a good question, and I don't have an answer to it :(
Maybe it has something to do with dual wielding. I really got no idea.

Actually that stat is a bit misleading (and the way i named it too). Having less of it makes you cast faster. I think it would be possible to reach 60% if I had the buff from Artistry on, which is probably as low as you can get since I had robe+passive bonus.

Yes ;)

Lol :D
I was sure I had a screenshot showing the speed but I can't find it. I think I had 255% speed or something.

Yeah, since I played a tyrant in Lineage 2 I'm definitely considering this build because of the extra mobility. Not to mention the class build for that speed is pretty decent at dealing damage too. Definitely going to give it a shot next CBT.

Can't just just eat any melee player by kiting them to death with this kind of speed @_@

With the will skill tree you can steal some of the speed buffs, otherwise you're pretty much screwed.

Nah, melees Skill trees have so many gap closer skills, it's ridiculous. Can hardly kite, which is one of the reasons mages get owned if left unprotected. Plus one of those running speed buff reduces your speed by A LOT when it wears off, making you vulnerable.

After 1 minute... quite a lot of time to pwn someone.

30 seconds actually...I'm talking about this:

Posted Image
Lvl 26; CT instant; CD 1mn30s; range self
Buff, increases movement speed, attack speed of ranged weapons, ranged critical rate, and ranged attack stat for some seconds. While the buff is active the player is immune to fear.
After the buff wears off, the player's movement speed, attack speed and casting speed is drastically lowered for some seconds.

Anyway, it is a good build. But there is other ones that perform quite good too. They need to balance magic builds though. Those are too weak.

Isn't the debuff only about 10s though? Seems like a pretty good tradeoff. You get immunity to fear too! :(

If you're not super quick (or have a bit of lag) then you're only going to get one attack in when you use your skills to jump to the player.

Closing skills + roots /stuns /paralysis /traps say no. I like Grover style near/far builds myself, but there are skills to counter kiting.

I am very interested in how long it takes to swap from say a bow to a sword.

An arrow for the bleed...jump to...wound and paralyze..step around and back-stab.

OnTopic:

Am I reading correctly that there is some skill overlap? If so nice! I can choose a stat/stats that best fit my 3 professions as a combo.
